The future of payments

At Klarna, smoooth experiences are not an add-on – they're a requirement. The team looked closely at how to design a payment selector fit to that requirement. Then, looked again, tested, and started anew.

Designing for both users and merchants meant understanding their needs and preferences. The team faced business requirements and technical constraints, notably, optimising for loading speeds. Through multiple iterations, feedback, and testing, they designed an interface that not only offers a streamlined payment selection process but also aligns with the technical infrastructure, ensuring that users enjoy a swift, informative, and smoooth payment experience.
